Re-Elect Bob Kressig
CEDAR FALLS --- Rep. Bob Kressig thoroughly impresses me with his honesty, effective hard work, leadership skills and experience.
Bob listens and is accessible to his constituents. He is trustworthy, fair minded and balanced. He has a proven record of community service and leadership. He represents everyone in his district. Bob values each and every one of us and expresses this through support of children and families, the community, preservation of the environment and education as the process of enriching the lives of present and future generations.
Bob especially values the democratic process so essential to the traditions of our country. It is an affront to these principles of democracy when the Republican Party spreads lies about our local Democratic legislative candidates. It is either dishonest or naïve when local Republican candidates say they can't control this dishonesty (when they hope to benefit from it).
If they are dishonest, they don't deserve our support or respect. If they are naïve, they don't deserve our vote either, as that naiveté will put them right in the hip pockets of Republican Party activists.
Large contribution of money from the Republican hierarchy to their local candidates will ensure a demand for payback through their potential future votes. We should not let this happen.
Let's join together, all of us, to re-elect Rep. Bob Kressig.
Re-elect Bob Kressig
WATERLOO --- Bob Kressig = statesman.
The word statesman best describes my thoughts of Rep. Bob Kressig. According to my dictionary, a statesman is a person who is experienced in the art of government or versed in the administration of government affairs. Bob brings more than six years of experience in city and state government to the table. That includes two years as a state representative and four years on the Cedar Falls Planning and Zoning Commission, including commission chair for two years.
The second definition of statesman is a person who exhibits great wisdom and ability in directing the affairs of a government or in dealing with important public issues. Bob is familiar with the issues impacting Cedar Valley residents and represents our best interests at the State Capitol. When we vote Bob back to the State House on Nov. 7 we are enabling him to continue the work he began during his first term. Bob will continue his bipartisan approach to issues impacting our community including education, economic development, health care and renewable energies.
Help send a statesman back to the Iowa House. Re-elect Bob Kressig.
