State Approves Award to Keep Jobs in Cedar Falls
Cedar Falls, Iowa State Representative Bob Kressig of Cedar Falls was pleased to learn today the state has approved a $12,000 award and other tax benefits to help Adams Thermal Systems expand and keep jobs in Cedar Falls.
Small businesses are the key to helping our economy recover and I'm glad the state is partnering with this local manufacturer to expand and keep good-paying jobs in Cedar Falls, said Kressig, who chairs the House Economic Development Appropriations Subcommittee.
Adams Thermal Systems manufactures engine cooling systems for off-highway and on-highway vehicles. The state award and tax benefits will help with construction of a new 40,000 foot facility and the total cost of the project is $1.77 million. The award was made by the Iowa Economic Development Board.
